8 National coalitions for digital skills and jobs to receive EU funding

National Digital Skills and Jobs Coalitions from 8 European countries have been selected to receive funding from the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) funding mechanism. The grant totals more than €900.000, which can be used to upgrade the Coalitions’ web presence and connect to the European Platform for Digital Skills and Jobs. The objective is to create a joint platform that will help to bridge the digital skills gap in Europe.

The awarded National coalitions are from Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Ireland, Lithuania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain. The Danish and Irish National Coalitions are led by ITPE members Dansk IT and the Irish Computer Society respectively.

Those National coalitions that were not selected will have a chance to submit a new proposal to the 2nd CEF Telecom call for generic services that was published in June.
