With the need for more IT qualified people in Europe APMG International is aligning all their qualifications to the e-CF to make it easier for individuals and companies to identify appropriate courses and qualifications for specific job roles
“IT and digital initiatives are developing at an incredible rate, old roles and jobs are disappearing and new ones being created all the time. The e-CF provides a framework that can be used as a benchmark for today and also to show the skills and competences required for the future. Aligning e-CF with job profiles will help companies and individuals with skill and career development. We would also like to see these aligned to academic, vocational and professional qualifications to provide a single point of truth for ICT and digital competencies.”

“ICT has changed both our private and professional lives. Managing information has become more complex and is now recognized as a key success factor for individuals and organizations alike. This highly influences the importance of individual competences for employability. It is necessary to use consistent competence definitions. The e-Competence Framework provides this stable reference framework.”
