Commission opens public consultation on Digital Europe

The Commission has opened a consultation on the orientation of the first two years of its proposed Digital Europe programme. Your input will help the Commission finalise the Orientations for Digital Europe (a draft can be viewed online), which will guide the work programmes and calls for proposals for the programme’s first two years (2021-2022).

Digital Europe is meant to run in the period 2021-2027 and focuses on the deployment of innovative digital technologies in five key areas: supercomputing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, advanced digital skills, as well as ensuring a wide use of these digital technologies across the economy and society in line with the EU’s sustainability goals and values.

The consultation will close on 25 October 2019 – you can access it here.
