According to the recent survey by Capgemini, the share of organisations that confirm they have digital and leadership capabilities to drive a successful transformation has doubled since 2018. This is largely due to the risen requirements of digitalisation caused by the pandemic.
However, the difficulty remains in finding the needed talent, for which businesses have two options: recruit or train. At the same time, soft skills such as emotional intelligence, adaptability and collaboration suffer a lack of intent from companies – less than half of businesses claim to focus on building soft skills, according to the survey.
