ITPE’s Professional Ethics Expert Group Meeting was held virtually on 9 December 2020.
The session featured speakers Craig McDonald, Emiritus Professor of Informatics University of Canberra, Stefan Kunkel, Project Leader CEN TC 428,Juan Pablo Peñarrubia, Vice President Spanish General Council of Informatics Engineering (CCII) and Moira de Roche, Chair IFIP/IP3. Discussions centred on the various definitions of ethics and how best to go from theory to practice – and that this may vary from country to country.
