Helena Lovegrove

Helena has +20 years working in EU public policy in both the public and private sector on a wide number of policy and EU funded projects.
Before joining DIGITALEUROPE, as Director of Projects and Operations, Helena focused on a number of digital areas. Helena’s work at the European Commission was as an economist at DG Competition (telco cost analysis). She then moved into the private sector for a number of agencies focused on large multinational clients. More recently her work focused on Non-for-profits where she advocated for archives and research library associations in their digitisation efforts and concerns around EU copyright law. She has also been project partner in the EU funded project Europeana (Europe’s digital platform for cultural heritage). Before Brussels, she was an export consultant in Sweden focusing on helping mainly SMEs tap into European markets.
Helena holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics, BSc BA & Econ, as well as Bachelor of Art in French, both degrees from Lund University, Sweden.
