Liesbeth Ruoff – van Welzen has acquired expertise in various fields, starting as marketer in education and IT firms. She became a Group Vice President at IDC EMEA and managing director of IDC in the Benelux, the market intelligence firmm and in 2003 she founded her own consultancy boutique LRWA. In that role she advised companies like SAP, TNT, Deloitte, Netive and the Dutch Government to look in their Return on Investment cases (ROI) in IT also at human capital.

Currently she is

· chair of Interest Group (IG) Digital Skills of KNVI, the Royal Dutch Organisation for the Information Professional,

· board member of IP3, a part of IFIP.

· representing KNVI in NEN mirror committee TC 428 and in CEN TC 428. She is involved in the development of the ecosystem around e-CF.
