New digital ecosystems require rethinking of company strategies


Digital ecosystems, in which diverse companies use of online platforms to integrate related offerings, are changing industry dynamics and could generate up to a third of global sales by 2025, according to new report by McKinsey – ‘How top companies excel with digital analytics.’

Consequently, it is suggested in the report that company executives must rethink various aspects of their business, including strategy, talent, use of agile methods, data analytics as well as implementing advanced technology in both IT and basic operations.
